One of the many questions we receive every week is "how can I attract more people to my Facebook profile?". Like most social butterflies who have decided to use social media to increase their business exposure you have been burning the might night oil trying to figure out how to increase your Facebook's fanbase with little or no success. According to Jupiter Research, over 80% of all Internet users have participated in an online sweepstakes or contest in the past year, while another 50% enter them once a month. First off, if you have not yet heard of Facebook, thank you for exiting your cave. We would like to now welcome you to the Internet, we think you'll like it here. Like us, odds are good that you are a Facebook addict. Here's an awesome article we found very interesting and thought you might too. Especially if you're targeting this demographic. In fact, as many as one-third of women aged 18-34 check Facebook when they first wake up, even before they get to the bathroom. The study sampled the habits of 1,605 adults using social media between May and June of this year in an attempt to break down their social media habits. While some of the results are in line with previous studies we’ve read, others simply shocked us (e.g. 42% of young women think posting photos of themselves “visibly intoxicated” is okay).
