Accessibility / WCAG 2.2 AA
A website built to welcome everyone.
Omaha Media Group is committed to making its website useful to the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technology.
Statement and report updated August 26, 2026Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is part of design, development, content and ongoing maintenance. It is not treated as a one-time certification.
Measures we take
- Use semantic HTML, descriptive page titles, logical headings and meaningful link names.
- Provide keyboard-visible focus, labels for interactive controls and text alternatives for informative imagery.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences and support browser zoom and responsive reflow.
- Review color contrast and interaction states as designs change.
- Run automated accessibility checks on representative public and administrative templates.
- Keep a remediation path for issues reported by visitors.
Automated conformance report
On August 23, 2026, nine representative production templates were tested using Lighthouse with axe-core accessibility rules. Home, About, Insights & Ideas, an article, Contact, Expertise, a service detail, Design Studio and CMS Login each received an automated accessibility score of 100. Across those templates, 203 automated checks passed and no automated checks failed.
Automated scores are evidence, not a guarantee of full conformance. They detect only a subset of accessibility barriers.
Known limitations and manual review
Manual validation remains necessary for complete keyboard flow, screen-reader comprehension, focus management, motion preferences, content meaning and form completion with third-party reCAPTCHA. Third-party services and linked websites may not meet the same standard. We continue to review these areas and prioritize barriers that prevent access to core content or functions.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, tell us which page or feature caused trouble, what technology you were using and what you were trying to accomplish. We will make a good-faith effort to provide the information in another format and address the underlying issue.
