A War.gov concept that replaces the conventional government news feed with a connected system for readiness, joint capabilities and service-member support.
The opportunity
Show how people, capabilities and partnerships create readiness without turning the public website into a wall of releases.
War.gov serves unusually different audiences, including service members and families, journalists, industry partners, researchers, job seekers and citizens looking for an understandable view of the department. Its current breadth is valuable, but the experience can make visitors work through content categories before they understand the larger mission or find the task that brought them there.
Ready for What Comes Next creates a visual operating system for the public site. A Readiness Pulse introduces the five connected domains, while mission, people, capability and support pathways stay visible throughout the experience. The result is less like a government newsroom and more like a clear public window into a complex institution.
