What services do we offer?
Once a business starts to search the market for a creative agency, the distinct differences between each agency is pretty clear. At Omaha Media Group, our company provides clients with a one stop shop with ALL of our services. So, who are we and what do we provide for your company?
Who we are
Welcome to our blog! We are Omaha’s multi-award winning creative agency! Omaha Media Group (OMG) is a privately held faith-based creative management firm located in the Midwest, with branches all over the U.S. from the South to the West coast.
What does it mean to be a faith-based firm? OMG does not require any clients or employees to have faith, AT ALL. What we mean by this is that OMG is a blessing to all of our clients. Our goal is to always be an extension of your business and be a blessing in disguise!
Often times, our clients come to us after searching for a website design and development but stay with us for all of our other services we provide.
Here’s a breakdown of ALL of our services we can provide.
At Omaha Media Group, we pride ourselves on our website design and development. We are a Google Development Partner who provides client’s with custom website designs and code.
A website is the first impression on Google. It takes as little as 50 milliseconds for a consumer to make a judgement about your business based on the website. First impressions are everything in a digital world. A slow website can cause consumers to click out of your website, and over time, constant backing out can cause your website to slowly lose it’s rank.
The design is everything from the right font to the perfect balance of white space. Our creative agency has in-house Graphic Designers who work on all of our website design templates! This ensures that clients are receiving a website that is UX/UI, mobile friendly and has their own special touch in their industry.
Once the website design is approved and ready for coding, this is where the other part of the website magic happens. At Omaha Media Group we typically do not use WordPress. The only time our company willingly uses WordPress is when client’s request it and we cannot get them to change their minds!
So, what do we use? ExpressionEngine. ExpressionEngine is the leading CMS out there for Fortune 500 companies to the local bar around the corner. This is because it is one of the most secure CMS out there, allows for custom coding and allows integration for add-ons. WordPress websites cannot have custom designs. The moment you download the template that is what you get. Yes, you can add Widgets, but this just increases the likelihood of a messy website that gets hacked even easier.
Once the website is launched and ready to be announced to the public, more times than not, client’s start the process of marketing!
Digital Marketing is a broad scope of services we provide for all of our clients! Often times, a client comes in for a website design and development then signs a digital marketing contract! Digital Marketing is often most associated with Social Media Management strategies.
Social Media Management is marketing through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. This helps to reach a larger target audience, create better brand awareness and reach those KPIs set in place by a company. Our Digital Marketers create a strategy based upon keynotes and market research in your industry.
This marketing method takes old school practices and combines them into new school work! Why did we group together the digital marketing and social media management? Well, this is because our marketers are verse in the digital marketing realm but with a concentration on social media management.
When a company comes to Omaha Media Group, the biggest concern is getting their website to rank in search engines, more specifically Google. There are 67,000 searches conducted on Google every second. Every second. How can a creative agency help you to rank in Google? There are two strategies that work together. The first one is organic SEO.
Organic SEO compromises of SEO strategies that allow a website to rank overtime without putting any extra money or advertisement towards the website. A website that starts off at nothing can often take more than six months to organically rank! The story of the hare and the tortoise holds true when it comes to organic SEO.
While the competition is using paid ads after paid ads, this is not helping their overall rank. This is getting their ads in front of people for a short timeframe. Our experts do recommend using both paid and organic search efforts together to help the overall website.
A common phrase that one will hear is: keywords. Keywords are search queries phrases that consumers are using to search for results in Google. These keywords can be a number of phrases and questions that consumers are searching for. When you type into Google, “what is SEO?” The results that show are the websites and blogs ranking for that search query. The top 10 are the first page ranking. This is because this website has quality backlinking strategies, correct usage of keywords and has built credibility with Google over time. Yes, a website has to build credibility with Google before it can just start to rank!
Pay-Per-Click is most commonly known as PPC which is a paid advertisement that shows up in search engines. This allows for a company to advertise to the general public and only pay when someone clicks on their advertisement.
These ads are based upon those organic search strategies listed above to use the right keywords to make sure the ad is at the lowest click cost while showing up in the top four spots of the search query. Often times, clients will use PPC ads alongside their organic strategies to help get a boost of traffic because PPC is known to help bring in a higher amount of traffic in a shorter amount of time.
The most important notion to take away from SEO and PPC is that you need a credible website with Google to get your PPC ads to rank in the top folder of Google. If a company is constantly competing against the larger competitors who have been building their credibility there are two things that will happen; you will pay more per click on the advertisement and be pushed to the bottom of the search query. A company needs organic SEO to help build that traffic and PPC to add a boost of website traffic!
Email marketing is one “old-school” method that is not going anywhere. This is one of the most common requests from clients. There will be billions of emails sent each day by 2020. Billions. Why not be part of that billion in a strategic way? Our creative agency has our own email marketing platform called, Monstrous.Email.
